Principal - Beth Fisher
Beth Fisher
Principal
Greetings BeYorba students and families!
My name is Beth Fisher and I am honored to serve as your Principal. I am entering into my 5th year as the proud principal of our amazing school and my 10th year of administration. Throughout our years together we have accomplished much including being named a California and National Schools to Watch!
Prior to making my home in PYLUSD and BeYorba, I spent 10 years in Garden Grove Unified School District. During my time there I spent the five years as Assistant Principal over Curriculum and Instruction, Student Activities, Parent Engagement, and Instructional Technology at La Quinta High School. I was a proud teacher leader in the subject areas of English, History, ELD, AVID, and ASB/Student Leadership. Prior to that I served as a Teacher on Special Assignment for the Office of 7-12 Instruction in the areas of AVID and Instructional Technology. In addition to my time in GGUSD, I spent 2 years in the state of Oregon where I was a teacher leader and High School Activities Director. I was proud to have started the AVID and ELD programs at my school site. I have a passion for serving students and live by the motto that when it comes to serving students "ALL means ALL!" In addition to my instructional work, I am an advocate for inclusion and mental health, actively participating in the greater Orange County mental health community. I believe that our students need to have their own unique place within our schools as well as sense of safety and belonging to access the highest quality education.
I have been married to my husband for fifteen years. We have two beautiful daughters and a little dog. I am proud to live in this community and parent alongside you. I am a current PYLUSD parent, so I know first hand the importance of making the education for your students the best it can be! Each day I approach the school with the mindset that I want to make my school a place where my own kids want to attend (and they will attend here when they are of middle school age!).
I believe in the importance of being accessible. I hope that you will stop by and share your story with me. It is of the utmost importance to me that I get to know the names, faces, and stories of our students and families as it is the PYLUSD way. If you want to reach me, you can call (714)-986-7400 extension 22001 or email at [email protected]. If we already know one other, I look forward to enriching our relationship and for those of you I am just meeting, I look forward to getting to know you! It is my honor to serve as your Principal.
